Penemuae

Penemuae (The Watchers of Enoch Series)
by Lea Barrymire
Genre: Sci-Fi, Mythology Romance

Therefore shall they never find peace…

The temptations of love and lust brought the two hundred Watchers together. When they decided earthly possessions were more important than divine instruction, they were bound to each other, and the Earth, forever as punishment.

The Watchers can feel change coming…

After three thousand years, and more heartache than Watcher General Penemuae can remember, all he wants is an end. Exhausted in heart and soul, he lives to fight the Nephilim and atone for his disgrace, his only objective to rid the Earth of evil. Until the day he meets her. Evelyn, the human woman who shouldn’t have survived, who can see things she shouldn’t, who makes him want things he’s sworn not to desire again.

Face to face with evil, Evelyn finally has to accept there is more on earth than mere humans when she becomes the target of an immortal malevolence. Saved by an avenging angel with eyes dark as night and remorse to match, she finds herself in the middle of a fight she may not survive.

Lea lives in Western New York with her hubby, three children, and miscellaneous critters. Before the rug rats, she lived a life of adventure, following her husband all over Europe with the US military. She's slept in a car outside Paris, drove six hours just to see tulips in the Netherlands, and knocked ash from her shoes at Pompeii. Now she spends her time in life's adventures at soccer games, PTA meetings and school plays.

Lea has loved reading from a very young age, spending many sleepless nights devouring books. Science fiction and paranormal were her favorite genres to read as a teenager, and that love bled into her adult life. She started writing during a bout of insomnia, to fill time, and found it filled a creative void. Now she communes regularly with the characters in her head and tries not to laugh out loud when they say something funny.

When Lea isn't reading, writing or corralling kids, she enjoys watching movies and sciencey shows, or just kicking back and listening to some music.

She loves hearing from readers. Find her hanging out on the web at:

Gwyneth

Gwyneth
by J.M. Zuniga
Genre: Mystery, Suspense, Thriller

When infatuation turns into obsession...no one is safe. For the

past few months, an admirer has been showering Gwyneth with

unexpected gifts. At first, she is flattered, but when the gifts turn

into more than just tokens of affection, she reaches out to the

police. With Detective Aaron Tate leading the investigation and

keeping a close eye on Gwyneth, she begins to feel safe and more

relaxed—that is until things go from being creepy to downright

dangerous. With her life in peril, Gwyneth becomes her own

protector. However, will that be enough to keep her safe?

J. M. Zuniga has been passionate about reading since childhood, but it wasn't until one of her college English professors suggested J. M. write a book that the seed of writing was sown. Even then, it took J. M. another year before she actually decided to give it a try. Inspired by the surge of YA novels proliferating the book market, J. M. decided to choose that genre for her first project, Winter Rayne, which was published three and a half years later in August of 2013. During a break from writing Winter Rayne, J. M. began to write The Diamond Mini-Series, a dystopian mini- series of two novelettes and one novella. The Diamond Mini-Series was first published individually, in e-book format, with the following titles: Under Ground (May 2012), The Core (July 2012), and Ransom (November 2012). Subsequently, they were all three published in a print book titled TDMS Collection (2013). J. M. has two award winning poems. Her First Place "Untitled" poem was published in Voices of Compton: Compton Literary/Arts Journal 2008-2009. Her poem "The Importance of Love" won a Third Place Virtual Ribbon for Romantic Poetry in July 2011 on Writing.com.

J. M. resides in Long Beach, California, is a dedicated mother of three and works as a Traveling Teacher. It is her family and best friends that inspire her to continue writing and dreaming. Most of the time when she is not writing, reading, teaching, or spending time with her family, J. M. can be found watching a wide variety of movies. She's not sure which is larger, her collection of books or her collection of movies.

How did you get started into writing?

Being asked how I got started writing is always a difficult question for me. For me, writing just happened. I was in the eighth grade, and several of my friends and I got together and decided to start a club. We were not interested in sports and other things that there were already clubs for, but we wanted something to unite us. After much deliberation, we decided to create a writing club.

From then on, I have been a writer. Over time, my stories have grown and become more complex. Writing is who I am, and is part of my very soul. There is not a day that goes by that I don't write something, and I always have ideas rolling through my mind. I love the ability to create new characters and worlds for them to live in. I could not imagine my life without writing being a part of it, and it has been for most of my life.

Guest Post

For the Rest of my Life…
I was born in Michigan, and have lived over half my life in Northern Ohio. In other words, I’m one of those people who are subjected to all four seasons. Each and every one of them, as of late, seems to be about as extreme as you can imagine.
While I do believe variety can be the spice of life. I’m more than over one season in particular.
Old Man Winter—especially in recent years—has worn out his welcome. Spring and Fall are pleasant visitors, giving a break from the high heat and humidity and the extreme cold. Those seasons give me a chance to wear a soft sweater or accent my outfit with an attractive scarf that is pretty, but has zero value when it comes to warmth.
Winter, on the other hand, forces me to spend days indoors, because the bitter wind and slick snow are just two things I don’t appreciate as much as I did when I was a child and loved building snowmen and sledding.
So, it shouldn’t surprise you when I say that if I could pick an ideal spot to spend the remainder of my days—with no regard to how I was going to afford it, and of course, knowing that everyone I loved and cared about were coming too—I would find myself settled on a sandy beach with the sun warming my skin and a chilled margarita quenching my thirst.
Though, I would like it to be a climate where on a handful of days, a cool ocean breeze makes me want to grab a sweater to wrap over my shoulders. An occasional crisp evening that gives a large bonfire purpose would be nice too.
Where is this place?

I’m not sure it exists, but my husband and I talk about wanting to go there. If you live in this utopia—a place where we can ride the motorcycle 365 days a year, not be suffocated by high humidity and still enjoy some variance and slight seasonal change—let us know and we just might become your new neighbors.

Constance Phillips lives in Ohio with her husband, daughter, two kitties, and four canine kids.
When not writing stories of finding and rediscovering love, Constance is counting down the days until her son and daughter-in-law make her a grandma and planning a cross-country motorcycle trip with her husband for the not-so-distant future…if they can find a sidecar big enough for the pups.

Lords of Mayhem, Book 1

Good girl. Bookworm. Wallflower. Juliette’s been called all of them, and never protested. But every now and then she wants to be daring and adventurous and sexy. A night out with the girls presents just the opportunity Juliette’s been looking for.

Undeniably sexy, Shooter hits all of Juliette’s hot buttons—and as a member of a local biker gang, rings more than a few of her warning bells.

As the past comes rushing back to haunt her and the future starts to turn dark, Juliette has to choose—fall back into old habits or trust her heart and the man who holds it.

Shyla Colt grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, but has lived a variety of different places thanks to her wanderlust, interesting careers, and marriage to a United States Marine. She's always loved books and wrote her very first novel at the age of fifteen. She keeps a copy of her first submission letter on her desk for inspiration.

After a lifetime of traveling, she settled down and knew her time had come to write. Diving into her new career like she does everything else, with enthusiasm, research and a lot of prayers, she had her first book published in June of 2011. As a full-time writer, stay at home mother, and wife, there's never a dull moment in her household.

She weaves her tales in spare moments and the evenings with a cup of coffee or tea at her side and the characters in her head for company. A self-professed rebel with a pen. Her goal is to diversify romance as she continues to genre hop, and offer up strong female characters.
